Your child is far away, but not alone.
We know the decision is yours before it is the student's. This page answers the questions parents ask at every consultation.
Who are we dealing with?
EDUGATE GROUP: officially authorised by UTM in a letter signed by the rector, and we also support enrolment at USMF, USM and Georgian universities. We show you the documents at our office.
What does it really cost?
Tuition goes to the university directly. Our package is ₪ 6,000 in 3 payments tied to the file's progress. Flights, rent and living costs are outside the package.
Who is with them there?
Our Chișinău team led by Eng. Tarek Hammoud: airport pick-up, help with housing and a bank account, and follow-up all through the first year.
Where will they live?
We help find housing within budget; rent is paid to the landlord directly.
Is everything in writing?
Yes. A written agreement listing services and payments, and the name of the file owner at each stage.
Is the degree recognised?
Recognition is decided per graduate by the Ministry of Education's degree-evaluation department. We review the programme with you before enrolment. Details
One voice you know, from day one until they settle in.
Before and after travel, you know who to call.
Save both numbers. Majd al-Krum for questions at home, Chișinău for anything about the student there.
The questions parents ask most.
Straight answers on recognition, payments, housing and follow-up.
Is the degree recognised in Israel?
Recognition is decided per graduate by the official authorities. That's why we review the recognition route for the programme with you before enrolment.
Who meets the student on arrival?
Our Chișinău team led by Eng. Tarek Hammoud: airport pick-up, help with housing and a bank account, and follow-up all through the first year.
Who do we pay tuition to?
Directly to the university; we never collect tuition. Fees are listed on each country's page and confirmed in writing at enrolment.
When do we pay EduGate?
Three payments of ₪ 2,000: at agreement, after the file is prepared, and before the university invitation.
How much will the student need for living costs?
It depends on housing and lifestyle; we give you an up-to-date estimate at consultation. Note that the study visa requires proof of means of €30 per day.
What if the student needs a preparatory year?
The preparatory year is outside the package. In Moldova, moving on to the degree afterwards needs a new visa at extra cost, plus our office service fee for that stage. We explain the figures at consultation.
Which documents are needed, and who prepares them?
We give you a document list for the programme and handle translation, certification, the university application and the visa request.
Can we visit the office before signing?
Of course. The first consultation is free and by appointment, and we encourage parents to come with the student.
How do we keep in touch once the student has left?
You stay in direct contact with the Chișinău and Majd al-Krum offices by phone and WhatsApp, with a named person for each stage.
Come and talk to us, parents and student together.
Your first consultation is free and comes with no obligation. Reach us whichever way suits you.
